The graphic for the model consists of 3 triangles within a larger triangle. This large triangle exists within 2 circles. The small triangles consist of Professional Learning Teams, Response to Intervention and Social-Emotional Learning. The inner circle represents Teacher Leadership and the outer circle represents a system of program improvement.

These components ensure that all aspects of schooling are addressed when addressing student achievement. None of these components were developed by the members of the EMSM team. We gladly defer to those who precede us in these arenas. We may have tweaked their methods to fit within our model and capture synergies that we have found to be apparent in our model. There is a large wealth of information for each of these 5 components. I'm going to try to point readers to good sources of information for these 5 components and describe how they work together to maximize achievement for all students. I'll write about the methods in the text and provide links in the side bar. I hope to create a very comprehensive one-stop shop for the very best information related to the components of this model.

Additionally, I'll provide insights that we've learned about implementation. While implementation of this model seems to be a daunting task, we've found that it has added so much clarity and coherence to our work that it's actually easier.

Finally, this site thrives from the sharing that is currently found in the arenas of the 5 components. I hope that you will share what you've learned.

Thank you for reading and please stay tuned.

test

test
